Basic Information

  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner is self – service (buffet).
  • Beverage (non-alcoholic & alcoholic beverages: red & white wine, beer, still & mineral water and juices, tea, coffee) during all meals in Central Restaurant (3* hotels) is free. Drink in Maxim hotel restaurant (4*) needs to be extra paid.
  • Daily available (extra charged): tennis courts, fitness, massage, sauna (all with reservation at the reception). The possibility of using hotel towels. Only persons older than 16 years may use the services of Wellness Centre.
  • Free use of swimming pool with sea water for adults and children, beach chairs and sun umbrellas (limited number), table tennis, bowling court.

It is forbidden to take food and drink from the restaurant.
Please do not enter restaurants and tavern in swimsuits.

After 12 (midnight) we kindly ask you for silence in hotel complex in consideration for guests who want peace and rest.

Booked room is at your disposal from 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. In order to prepare rooms for new guests, please leave room till 10 a.m. on the day of departure. Day before your departure, please, pay your bills on the reception and report damage if there were any.

House rules

Voltage is 220V, 50HZ. Cooking and ironing in the room is not allowed.
Weapons, flammable materials and substances which have unpleasant smell may not be carried in a hotel.
Guest is responsible for all damage caused by negligence within the hotel. For those younger than 18 and persons under the influence of alcohol will not be served alcohol beverages.
Božava hotels may cancel service to the guest who violates house rules.

Parking

Guests can park their cars on marked areas in the hotel complex. Parking is charged 1€ per day and is without supervision.


Reception

Our receptionists are at your disposal 24/7. Invoices can be payed from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Currency exchange office is at the reception and works every day from 7 a.m to 10 p.m. Please contact the reception if you need anything, for example, extra pillow or a blanket. We will do our best to fulfill Your wishes!

Air conditioning

All rooms and indoor spaces within the hotels are air-conditioned. Air-conditioning in the hotel is not equipped with energy saving systems so please close the doors and windows if you have air conditioning turned on in your room.

Water

The water from the plumbing installations inside buildings is drinkable. Please avoid using water from the connectors on the green areas because it is a technological water, used only for maintenance of green areas and is not drinkable. Considering that Dugi otok has no water supply system and hotel is supplied by water carriers, please use water conscientiously for the environment.

Safe deposit box

Hotel Management does not guarantee for valuables and money left in the room. We ask you politely to store them in a room safe or the safe at the reception.

AGAVA hotel – In every hotel room there is a safe located in room closet in the living room (free use).

MIRTA hotel - In every hotel room there is a safe located in room closet in the living room (free use).

MAXIM hotel – In every hotel room and apartment there is a safe (free use).
LAVANDA hotel – Lavanda hotel rooms do not have a safe. For Lavanda hotel guests there are 12 safes at the reception (for rent and extra charged).

Please follow the the safe handling instructions that you'll find inside the safe. In case you need our help in opening safe with the master code, we are at your disposal every day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. If you are leaving hotel early in the morning, make sure you checked your safe the day before departure.

Wellness centar

We welcome You to our Wellness Center that offers fitness, massage and sauna. Make your appointment at the reception or by phone on No. 9. Opening hours: 12 (noon) – 8 p.m. Our offers and prices can be found in special brochure.


Tennis

Tennis Center has two tennis courts.Book your term at the hotel reception (extra charged).


Rent a bike

At the hotel reception you can rent a bike per hour or per day. Any intentional or by negligence caused bike damage we charge in the amount of the damage.

Shuttle

Transport can be ordered at the reception or by telephone No. 9. Transport is done by hotel van Renault Trafic.

Beach

The beach is directly in front of the hotel. There are beach chairs and sun umbrellas (free of charge, limited number). If there is a beach towel on the beach chair, it is considered to be occupied.


Laundry service

You can order laundry service in the hotel. Prices of laundry and ironing service are at the reception. Price includes washing, ironing and VAT. Delivery time is 48 hours. If you choose to use laundry and ironing service, please put your clothes into the laundry washing bag that you will find in your room.


Reclamations

Let us know if you are not satisfied with the services. You can make a complaint at the reception or write to us on the e-mail address: management@hoteli-bozava.hr or hotel address: Božava d.d., Božava bb, 23286 Božava, Dugi otok, Croatia.


Village Božava offers:

− two grocery stores that have seasonal opening hours
− three restaurants and one ice cream shop
− The village has no nightclubs or casinos


Doctor and pharmacy

If you need a doctor or medical assistance, call reception on telephone No. 9.
There is no pharmacy in village. Pharmacy is in village Sali, located 45 km south from Božava. We recommend that you promptly fill your medicine supplies that you use before your vacation.

Post office

The mailbox is located at the reception entrance and is emptied every day. Postcards and stamps are available at the reception or the post office. Post office is located in the center of Božava village.

Environmental protection

We are happy that we can enusure you vacation in an untouched nature. Please take care of nature and the environment for the benefit of all of us and our younger generations.

It is good to know…

Dugi otok is connected to the mainland by three boat lines.

Line ZADAR – BRBINJ - ZADAR Navigation on this line perform ferries, and through this line goes full cargo and a large part of the passenger traffic on the route mainland – Dugi otok - mainland. Guests who do not come with a personal car, can come from Brbinj to Božava by public bus. All information about the bus schedule, ships and ferries you can get at the hotel reception.
Line ZADAR – BOŽAVA – ZADAR This is the line with fast boats - catamarans. The line is intended exclusively for transport of passengers and their luggage. All information about the order of sailing you can get at the hotel reception.
Line ZADAR – SALI – ZADAR is also fast boats (catamaran) line. This line is intended exclusively for transport of passengers and their luggage. All information about the order of sailing you can get at the hotel reception.
